So, in the middle of everything today, we ran across a hellaciously distressed momma mallard and a bunch of her baby ducks that had fallen down a sewer grate. Another guy was already trying to fish them out, so my friend and I called animal control before we tried to fish the rest of them out. When Animal Control got there, we had all of them out and the mother duck quacking very happily. I was surprised - none of us got snapped at or hurt. I was even holding onto a bag at one point that had all of them in it and she just watched me.

i hate people who kill spiders when they dotn absolutely need to like i hope youre visited every night by the ghosts of all the innocent spiders youve killed i hope they crawl all over you
i used to have nightmares about that when i was a kid. i thought if i killed a little spider, a big one would come get me when i was sleeping. so i never hurt them, i just put them in a cup and bring them outside
I killed a spider that was in my room about a month or two ago and after the fact I felt so guilty that I cried my eyes out. It was just on the floor hanging out and I killed it… A few months before, it scared me and crawled on my bed beside me and went under my bed but yeah I felt so guilty for killing it.
I still haven’t found the right bookstore.
And this is why I love Alfred.
